Gastric problems can cause loss of appetite, gas in the stomach, heartburn and cramping pain in the middle of the stomach, feeling of pressure in the chest and stomach, indigestion and vomiting. 

If gastric problem is more, everyone takes medicine more or less with doctor's advice. According to experts, it is dangerous to take gastric drugs like omeprazole for years. It changes the pH of the stomach, increases the risk of cancer, can cause anemia.  

There are some home remedies to get rid of this gastric problem:

  • Take your Breakfast Regularly: Many people have breakfast in the afternoon, lunch in the afternoon or at night, dinner very late or late at night, that is, acidity or gas problems are created due to not eating according to the correct rules. That is why you must take regular daily meals.

  • Don't eat full stomach at one time :  there is a rule not to eat with full stomach, one third of the stomach should be filled with food, the remaining two parts will be water and the other half will be empty. If we try to follow this rule, we can get rid of acidity or gas problem. 

  • Eat small and frequent meals instead of eating too much at once.
  • Have 2-3 light meals like snacks in between three main meals in a day.

  • Always try to chew food: This will ensure proper digestion of food, get proper nutrition and reduce the risk of gastric problems.After eating, walk for 15 to 20 minutes instead of sitting. It reduces the chances of gastric problems. 
  • Drinking water:

If you understand the problem of acidity, the first thing to do is to drink a glass of cold water. Don’t forget to drink soft drinks. Try not to drink coffee. Stay away from citrus fruits. This will increase the gas in the stomach. Instead, you can drink herbal tea without milk and sugar. In addition to quenching your thirst for tea, your stomach will also be safe.

  • Timely and regular food intake:

The main cause of acidity problem is untimely and irregular food intake. Whatever you eat, it should be eaten at the same time every day. For example, if you eat lunch at 2 o’clock, then eat at 2 o’clock every day, never at 1 o’clock or never at 4 o’clock. In particular, dinner should be eaten at least two hours before going to bed. Do not lie down after eating. Try to walk for 15 to 20 minutes. It will reduce the acidity on the one hand, and on the other hand it will be beneficial for digestion.

  • Do not eat spicy food:

Use less spices in curries or snacks. Do not eat food with high amount of garlic, salt, oil, pepper i.e. food with too much spice. It is best to eat vegetables. And don’t stay hungry for long if you have acidity problem. Eat something nutritious when you feel hungry. If possible, avoid outside food, because those foods are high in substandard oil or burnt oil. As a result, there may be nausea with a lot of heartburn.

  • Drinking canned water :

Drinking water plays a very effective role in reducing stomach gas. A glass of bottled water helps to relieve the burning sensation in the body when suddenly there is gas in the stomach.

  • Quit smoking or drinking:

Those who have the habit of smoking or drinking regularly, try to stop it slowly. Even if it is a little difficult at first, it is possible to reduce it to zero by reducing it little by little every day. Also avoid milk tea, coffee and medicines like aspirin. Even if you worry more, acidity increases. So be as carefree and cheerful as possible.
